Dynamic Psychotherapy: The Purpose

“I can help.” The function and value of psychotherapy has been the subject of much controversy and discussion for over a century. The purpose and goal of Dynamic Psychotherapy is to assist you in removing the obstacles that stop you from living a deeply fulfilling and rich existence, where the natural ups and downs that are encountered can be taken in stride. Toward that end good therapy can enable you to create delicious inner peace, a deep sense of self-confidence, and the ability to fully function in the crucial areas of life. To achieve these goals it is essential that you are able to develop a trusting relationship with a competent therapist, someone with whom you can feel comfortable enough to form a warm, caring alliance. You are then assured that you have a collaborator who understands you and is concerned about you while accompanying you on your journey of self-discovery, trauma resolution, and solution formation.

“I can help. Together we can work it out. Identify the problems and issues that have been defeating you, and overcome them by exploring the only questions worth asking in therapy, as in life”.

The Healing Work begins with your first contact with your therapist. While you are focusing on the Who, What, Where, When and How of your life, you also heal the wounds, the pain, the blame, and begin to achieve a sense of balance and stability. You chip away at some of the misconceptions. With your ally, your therapist, you do the work - as briefly as possible, and recreate yourself into who you truly were meant to be and want to be. You mine those powerful, golden inner resources of yours, learn a new language of love and forgiveness towards yourself and others.

Dynamic Psychotherapy: The Way

Therapy that’s constructive depends on the skill and experience of your therapist, and the fit between you. You can judge the effectiveness of your therapist by applying your own intellectual and emotional responses to the treatment. The chemistry between you and your therapist is as important as any in your other significant relationships - it mirrors your fit. This blend will enable you to find a therapist whose approach is meaningful to you, and will get you the results you want.

“My extensive experience with Teletherapy and Online therapy, both personally and professionally, has brought emotional stability and symptom resolution to a great number of my clients.”

What

Dr. Bigel-Casher works psycho-dynamically focusing on solutions and problem-solving.

“Over the years Relationship Therapy, Hypnotherapy and EMDR Trauma/Loss Therapy has become my specialty.”

Why? Because the joy in life depends on two factors: Our ability to connect intimately in meaningful relationships, and our capacity to create a passionate work experience. When that ability is dismembered by trauma or loss, that must be overcome - otherwise symptoms take over the quality of one's life. Working cognitively and experientially is the straightest line we can walk.

First and foremost, is the development of a safe and secure relationship between my client and myself. This engenders a therapeutic environment where people can open more deeply to themselves and others. I tailor my treatment to the needs of my client. Rigidity has no place in my practice. Just as a healthy diet is essential to a growing child, a flexible therapeutic approach leads to a positive therapeutic outcome.

I consider myself a Coach for Better Living. Together we decide what works, and which approach will produce the most comfortable and effective results. Our success makes my work inspiring and heartwarming.”
